The red moon of October 8 was my first. It was the second in a series of four in 2014 and 2015. All four land on Jewish holidays (or better said, the Lord's feast days), which has only happened seven times in the past 2,000 years. Such occurrences seem to act as signs of history-making shifts in the world. (If you want to know more, I found Pray 4 Zion's article very insightful and easy to understand.)
Many are wondering what is coming. No one knows for sure but just current world events reveal harder times are indeed on the horizon. So, I've been on alert. Watching the earth's shadow slowly cover the moon was, for me, as if God's hand was moving over the moon's usual brightness and ushering in the darkness. I felt God was saying, "How great is your [world's] darkness." I wrote down another thought that came to me: The greater the darkness, the greater the power of the blood of Jesus will be manifested.
Much to ponder and pray about. Yes, we need to pray with an intensity and urgency as maybe we've never prayed with before.
